Hi my name is Ajani and I am going to tell you interesting things about Mt Wellington in New Zealand.

Mount Wellington blew up about 10,000 years ago witch is a long time ago.

Mount Wellington is in Auckland, New Zealand. Mt Wellington is a non active also known as a dormant volcano so that means that it will never erupt again.

Did you know? That if a volcano erupts and it touches you, you can turn into obsidian, stone or dust.

Week 6 Problem Solving

Volcanoes of the world

W.A.L.T: We had to create a goggle map that showed all of the volcanoes from around New Zealand and the world. We create this because we like to learn about the volcanoes around the world.

Through finding out about volcanoes around the world to pin on a map, we were learning to make meaning of a range of texts by defining our main ideas in them and then translating the information.
